Chelsea Krenn

Ballet and Jazz

Chelsea graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with her degree in Elementary Education in May 2016. She holds a teaching license in Early Childhood Education for birth through third grade and works as a first grade teacher in the Sun Prairie school district.

Her dance training began at Jessica’s School of Dance in southeastern Wisconsin, where she studied ballet, jazz, and hip hop. She later became a member of the teaching staff there, instructing ballet, jazz, preballet, and creative movement classes. While in college, Chelsea furthered her dance education by studying ballet, contemporary, hip hop, and pilates, working with many talented UW Dance faculty members.

This will be Chelsea’s fifth year teaching at A Step Above. Dance is an important part of her life, and she is committed to teaching dance classes that are fun and encouraging, in which students become more confident, self-assured individuals and dancers. She loves teaching the preschool and beginning level classes―dancing with the studio’s youngest students is her favorite thing to do!
