Musical Theater

The musical theater style is often referred to as Broadway or Musicals.  A Step Above Dance & Music Academy offers this class to students who wish to work on a musical-based training.  Technique is not focused upon but performance is.  All of our musical theater classes are invited to perform in our annual Spring Performance.

• 45-minute class offered to students 10+ years old. 

• Focus will be on learning musical numbers and acting exercises. 

• Vocals are not emphasized in this class so we recommend taking voice lessons if you are interested in that area.
